“Life can get complicated but self care does not need to be. I truly believe the route to wellness lies in taking an holistic approach. Understanding the influence that our self-narrative, our nutrition, our movement, our relationships, have on our energy is the key to wellbeing.”
About
My name is Angela and my wellness story started decades ago when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and hormonal imbalances (just to name a few!). Although conventional medicine did its best to repress my symptoms it was never interested in finding the root cause. It felt like a game of ‘wack-a- mole’, one symptom went away for another to appear.
Getting INTENTIONAL about my health was my key to recovery. I took an holistic approach, exploring my self-narrative, changing my eating habits and finding exercise that brought me joy. Real, holistic healing takes time, patience and a whole load of self-compassion but it works.
I turned my passion for wellbeing in to a career by formally training in cognitive behavioural therapy and nutrition. I said goodbye to almost two decades in corporate change management and set up Real Wellbeing, a small business with a BIG vision.
Real Wellbeing has been set up to give others a framework to transform their wellness story and thrive. I want to create a community where individuals can learn a holistic approach to wellbeing and become empowered to live the life they want.
Why Work With Me?
I use my knowledge of psychology, change management and nutrition to help people make lasting improvements to their health. Together, we’ll explore your unique vision of wellness and create a realistic action plan towards it.
It is not just my time in our sessions, I dedicate time to prepare for each of our sessions so that you get a personalised treatment plan that suits your needs. I want you to succeed in your goals and no longer need a wing-woman!
